Also, it's black so if it scratches a bit, all I need is a sharpie and its as good as new! However, it feels so well-made that I doubt that will happen. The base is super sturdy and the entire desk is fairly light weight. I put stick on furniture sliders on the feet and I can move it around or reposition it really easily if need be. It is not oversized which is nice for the room I put it in. Putting it together was fairly easy, however I will say that if the holes don't line up, you may have the bar backwards (I had that issue and thought I was going to have to drill new holes but I just had to flip the piece and it worked) or you may have the wrong bar in the wrong place. It appears that there is a left and right side when assembling even though the two sides are identical in length. Just be sure to check your instructions and maybe flip a piece if you have issues with the holes. In the end, everything went together beautifully and it does not shake or move at all when I use it. Overall, this desk was totally worth the money! Most of the desks in this price range do not look as if they are as sturdy, well-made, and durable as this one. From there my entire experience was positive. This desk is HUGE. I use one side for my laptop gaming setup, and the width is just big enough to fit my laptop and cooling stand, and still have room leftover for my extended mousepad, keyboard, and mouse. Im not sure where all the reviews about holes not aligning came from, all mine fit perfectly! There was one time on my last board to put on the frame where the holes didn't align, but i just flipped the board around and it was perfect on the other side! Some screws were hard to get in but you're going to get that from any mass produced piece of furniture. As of the time writing this review this is the largest desk of this design on amazon, and cheaper than similar desks. Great value, great look, and a solid product. The instructions didn't mention this BUT, I realized that one of the metal bars has one hole 3 inches from the end and one hole about 2 inches from the end. Once HD hooked me up in went together pretty quickly. You will not want anyone to sit on it or rest their butt on an edge or the aluminum legs will probably collapse. Looked good initially but is not able to support extra load of two monitors and laptops. If you are looking to multi task this isnt a good option to go for. Definately not worth it. The surface is not easily cleanable if any stains fall through. The supporting legs are hollw and can bend due to force or movement. Easy and quick to put bars together. But wish I would have read the reviews first. They are true. Holes don't match up when attaching table tops. Not sure what to do.
